New Display Unveiled at Capestone (February 2013)

A new display village featuring 13 outstanding homes is now open as part of the launch of the second stage of the Capestone master planned community at Mango Hill. The first release at Capestone sold out three months ago, with 91 lots snapped up in just five months, as buyers responded to the scarcity of land in the Moreton Shire region, and the community’s convenient location.

The 34 level home sites that make up stage 2A range from 400m2 to 824 m2 and Capestone’s spokesman Phil Johnston said pent up demand over the past three months meant some were expected to sell quickly. “We have had a surprising amount of interest from existing North Lakes residents happy with the amenity of Capestone and the proximity of St Benedict’s school, but looking to upgrade,” he said. High quality builders have contributed to the display village, including Metricon Homes, Clarendon Homes, McCarthy Homes, Ausbuild Homes and Ownit Homes. Many are already complete and open for inspection and all will be open by the end of March. “There is quite a variety of one and two level homes emerging at a range of prices – something to suit most buyers,” Mr Johnston said. Construction of first stage homes and the civil works for stage 2A are well underway with a range of contemporary designer homes taking shape.

Capestone’s future centrepiece, its large salt water lake and town centre will provide a high degree of amenity and convenient local shopping. “I think buyers can see something special is under way here, with the lake and its proximity to the bay, the future Moreton Bay rail link, and the existing school,” Mr Johnston said. “The stage one sell-out shows there’s no need for incentives and gimmicks at Capestone because people can see its real land at a realistic price,” he said.

The Capestone sales office opening hours are Monday to Wednesday 12pm-5pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm.
