Capestone 2023 Wrap-Up: A Year of Growth, Community, and Celebration

As we bid farewell to 2023, we reflect on the incredible journey of milestones, community growth, and unforgettable moments that defined our journey through the highlights that shaped our vibrant community over the past twelve months.

Bulk earthworks on Stage 21C

The year kicked off with the commencement of bulk earthworks on Stage 21C, signalling progress and growth within our community.

Our landscape transformed with the completion of the awe-inspiring 12.8-hectare lake at Capestone. A breathtaking natural feature that elevated the very essence of our community. 

Culinary Delights

March witnessed the grand opening of Il Lago, a brand-new restaurant at Capestone Village, quickly becoming a local hotspot. Check out their delightful offerings here: https://www.facebook.com/illagomangohill  

Amenities Unveiled

From March to August, construction commenced on the public amenities building at the Richard Road park, enhancing the recreational offerings for our residents. This initiative, part of the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Local Community Infrastructure Program, added another layer of convenience and enjoyment for our residents.

Easter Extravaganza

In April, the community came together for an Easter colouring competition, spreading joy and creativity. Five fortunate winners, chosen at random, experienced the sweetness of victory with an Easter chocolate hamper.

New Faces and Sales Transition

In July, Stacey joined our Capestone family, taking over sales responsibilities from Trish. Stacey’s arrival brought fresh perspectives and expertise to our dynamic team.

The Grand Finale – Capestone’s Encore lakefront land release

November marked a significant milestone as we released the last ever lakefront land – “Encore” at Capestone. Offering breathtaking water views and unique amenities, these premium homesites, ranging from 437m2 to 647m2, were made available for purchase starting from $795,000 to $850,000.

Festive Cheer and Community Bonding

The annual Capestone Christmas event in November was a spectacular affair at Lakeview Park. Residents gathered for a Christmas Movie Night featuring crowd favourite The Grinch (2018). The evening included a festive atmosphere complete with popcorn provided to guests. Families and residents of all ages enjoyed the night, to kick off the festive season and encourage the community to connect. 

As we wrap up 2023, Capestone stands as a testament to growth, community engagement, and the fulfilment of our vision for an exceptional living experience. We express our gratitude to the Capestone community for their continued support, and we eagerly anticipate an even more exciting 2024!
