A look back on 2024 at Capestone

As the year draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect – taking in the achievements of the past year while looking ahead to what’s to come. As we near the end of 2024 at Capestone, it’s an ideal opportunity for us as a community to celebrate our collective accomplishments, our vibrant spirit, and some of the unforgettable moments we’ve shared.

One of the most significant milestones of 2024 for Capestone has been the completion of work across the entire estate, culminating in the final land release now available for sale. This marks a major milestone in our 12-year journey, and it’s an exciting time as we welcome new neighbours into our thriving community.

Throughout 2024, celebrations and casual get-togethers continued to bring us closer together. In March, our Easter event gathered families, friends, and neighbours for a laid-back day filled with fun activities for all ages. The petting zoo and face painting were the highlight for the kids, allowing them to interact with animals and transform into their favourite superheroes or sparkly butterflies.

Beyond the larger events, the year has been filled with park walks, coffee catch-ups, and impromptu barbecues, all set against the backdrop of our beautiful lake and green surroundings that we are fortunate to call home.

A major highlight of the year was our Capestone estate receiving two prestigious awards at the 2024 UDIA QLD Awards for Excellence. These accolades – one for Masterplanned Communities and another for Parks & Recreation – recognized the vision and dedication behind the place we all cherish.
